Apprentice Electrician

The successful candidate will require a minimum qualification of Leaving Certificate to include an engineering subject with a strong aptitude in maths. He/she must demonstrate a keen interest and have genuine commitment to pursuing a level 6 electrical qualification. This position is also open to those currently pursuing an apprenticeship in this discipline.

Working with our experienced electrician, the successful person will be part of the wider team working in a highly technical and progressive environment. A high level of initiative and adaptability is required for this role. The company is committed to developing the successful candidate over the four-year apprenticeship period, with the long-term objective of being a highly skilled trained individual to be in a position to work on new technologies and technically challenging projects for the future.

The individual will be developed in the role through mentoring, hands on experience and will gain exposure to electrical/automation systems, electrical panel and machine wiring, interpretation of electrical schematics, safety systems. He/she will work closely with other disciplines electronics, PLC’s, industrial networks, vision systems and robotics. Further training and development is an integral part of this role.
