On the 5th of February at an exclusive event in the British Ambassador’s Residence Dublin, we were named as a ‘National Winner’ in the 2017/18 European Business Awards. We were chosen from a list of 2,898 companies previously identified as ‘Ones to Watch’ to come out top in our category as Ireland’s ‘Business of the Year with a turnover of up to €25 million’. As a first time entrant of the awards it was a huge achievement and we were thrilled to have been chosen to represent Ireland and compete against the other 33 National winners in our category from around Europe. In the final stage of the competition, one overall European winner will be chosen for our category.

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards had the following to say:[

“This is an amazing achievement, DesignPro is clearly a stand out leader in their field. To be a National Winner means you represent our core values of success, ethics and innovation and are one of the best in Europe. We wish you the best of luck in the final round.”

As a lead into the final stage of the competition each company nominated has the opportunity to compete in a public vote to be named ‘European Public Winner’. This stage involves the submission of a promotional video by each participating company to emphasise exactly what it is that makes their success so special. Over the last few weeks we have worked with one of Limerick’s top video production teams, Crude Media to create a video that we feel highlights why we are so proud of who we are and what it is that makes our success so extraordinary.

We are delighted with the result and really hope that it will give you an insight into what makes DesignPro the company it is today. You can view and vote for the video here and as the only Irish company entering this phase of the competition we really hope you’ll give us the ‘Irish Advantage’ and back us in Europe!

The final stage of the awards will see us face a judging panel of high profile business leaders in an intense interview process on the 22nd May in Warsaw, Poland followed by an exclusive Gala Dinner where the final category winners will be announced.

Voting closes on Friday 4th May at 5.00 pm so with only a few weeks to go we would really appreciate if you could take 2 minutes out of your day to cast your vote and help us raise the flag for Ireland at this year’s finals of the European Business Awards!
